From New Zealand

The world's most-searched meteor shower is, from New Zealand, essentially a non-event. The radiant sits at +58° declination and never rises from anywhere in the country. Any page promising you 100 Perseids an hour in August is a northern-hemisphere page that has not been adapted. Watch the Delta Aquariids instead — they run at the same time and are genuinely visible from here.

You cannot see this one from New Zealand

The radiant never rises here. If a guide has told you otherwise, it was written for the northern hemisphere. See what is actually visible instead.
